My washing machine never actually gets to the end of it's cycle. It was washing a load last week-end all day and never ever picked up the washing power, despite washing the items and rinsing then spinning on and off for hours. I've tried different cycles and I am getting the same result, although it does usually pick up the washing powder and wash the clothes but never gets beyond rinse/ spin, and NEVER takes the conditioner. It can also sometimes take two or three attempts to get it to start it's cycle. Someone has suggested a new PCB, but when I ordered one it is only the little board behind the buttons and doesn't seem to have made much difference. Could it be the 'timer' thing? or has anyone else got any other suggestions? Thanks
SOURCE: Machine not draining
Can you hear the pump running just before the spin cycle, if so then I suspect a blockage in the filter or pump hose, If not and machine is quiet then it could be a faulty water pump or PCB board and you would have to call a technician.

Ok hot water being still there and not draining is a clog in your drain line or pump issue. I have not yet brought up the schematic to your unit but on some units there is a clean out filter located down the bottom in which you would clean out the filter careful water does come out when you unscrew the filter on other models that do not have the filter door you would remove the lower panel on the front which would give you access to the pump and the drain lines as well even though if you do find items in the filter you still need to disconnect the drain lines going to and leaving from the pump to assure that nothing is blocking or clogging the flow of water. Im glad you replyed about the hot water still being on the inside definite clog in the drain line or pump or filter issue. If you have any further questions message me back. I await your reply Thanks

Ok, I've just had an email asking me to add some further information. Not sure how so I hope this works. I've run a couple of washes through since I fitted the new little PCB and the machine is running the wash OK, but still getting stuck at the spin , and not getting as far as picking up the conditioner. Nopt sure what other additional information I can give. I think that kinda sums up the problem. I can get a heap of different parts, but it would be good to know which one I need.. It is the selector, the timer, or the main Board, or something completely different? Thanks in anticipation of any help.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I have had an engineer out to the machine. Last week he took a look and thought it might be the main board. He has took the board out and sent it away for testing. it came back as "No Fault". he has refitted it today and the problems are still there. he has tried a different pump, but that has made no difference and has tried a different motor, to no avail. he has tested everything he can think of to test and has gone away baffled (after 4 hours!). Once he left I have removed every hose and pipe and cleaned them all out, there were no blockages. So this is still a mystery. Any other suggestions? Thanks
Oh, and yes the pump does run before the cycle. new symptom is that it will no longer spin if you just ask for the spin cycle. it jolts the drum round a little then cuts the power, however it does still spin at the end of a wash cycle as per the initial problem...it doesn't stop spinning
did you ever fix this? i am suffering the same fault. as speed builds up on spin cycle all power is cut and then it starts to spin again. it is a never ending loop

Hi Michael, Yes. There was a fault on the main board. First time we sent the board off for testing the company didn't find a problem. Second time we sent it they found a fault. 50 pounds fixed it and it's been spot on since.
