Occasionaly labels are not printing in the correct order

Lables are not printing in the correct order from time to time. The should be printing A,B,C,D..,X but once in awhile they print out A,B,D,C,E..X. The advanced settings hare set up to print spooled documents first and to start printing after the last page is spooled.

This is not a printer related issue. The printer prints exactly what it is told to do, and in the order received. If the data coming to the printer is out of order, the printer cannot correct it because it doesn't know that it is out of order.

If you have a way to pause and/or prioritize the data that you're spooling, you may be able to provide a flow of the data that prevents the printer from printing out of order.

SOURCE: I have a Monarch Paxar 9416 Printer and can't get

Sounds like you might either be using the wrong size supplies (wrong length compared to the data going to the printer), or you might not have the correct indexing set on the printer. If you choose a blackmark setting for the index (black mark on the back of the liner so that the printer can detect when to stop), but your printer is set to die cut (no black marks on the liner, only spaces between your labels), then the printer can become confused on where to stop. The same goes for the visa versa of these marks.

Lastly, if you are using a ribbon, or are supposed to use a ribbon, you might find that the printer isn't working because of a ribbon fault.

Just in case neither of these help, what software are you using to make the printer print? Maybe I can help further.

How do you format lables to print properly on the richo e7000?

Printing labels is a pain! It is much easier to print using an A4 sheet with (say) 7 rows of 4 labels on.
I suggest you use the Ricoh support site

Dymo 450 prints too many lables

Make sure you use genuine DYMO labels, not compatible ones. Also, make sure you select the right size in DYMO Label.

You may have to disable bidirectional support: right-click the printer > Printer Properties > Ports > uncheck the option.

My printer always start printing short so that the lables end up on two pieces instead of one

We must establish whether the problem is a moving label or just that the labels are not aligned properly. Is hte printing split across the two labels consistant regardless of hte number of labels printed? If so, then the lables are not aligned properly. The user manual has the procedure for aligning these. This is part of the setup procedure.

If hte first line of the labels changes position on subsequent printings, then either the label size is not defined properly or the format being used is not correct. I don't have the manual handy at the moment so I can't give you the particulars, but if you could update this and tell me which of the 2 conditions you are experiencing, I will look up the specifics in the morning.

Thanks,
Dan

Feeding-problems

you need to calibrate. hold the feed button down intill it flashes 4 times in a row and the quickly let go. it will feed some labels to calibrate and should stop at the tear off. you also have to set label size in the driver to keep from losing calibration.

Prints larger that print preview shows...

Firstly make sure your using the correct drive ZM400 rather than Z4M. if you are using the applications driver make sure of headers and footers sizes and the print area is set correctly. If your using odd sized lables download some new drivers from the Nice Label website, they are far more adjustable that the standard Zebra drivers.

Printing Labels

The MPF is simply the "Manual Paper Feed".
Your printer is set by default that the MPF paper type is "plain paper". Since you are telling the printer that you are trying to print lables, the printer is simply telling you that you need to load the MPF with lables.

If you say "ok", the printer sould continue and print the lables.

If you only print lables, the you can change the default paper for the MPF tray to "lables", and then you will no longer be prompted to load the tray.
