you need a new clock battery (on the motherboard), then reset time and date and after a few turn ons it should be fine

I have an IBM Think Pad type 2373. whenever I turn the computer on I get an error: 0210: Stuck Key 01 It says to press F1 to fix it, I do this and nothing happens. Can you please help me fix this?

F1 may appear as a secondary key on your computer. When the error message starts, try first pushing the 'Fn' key (near Ctrl), and then clicking the F1 button. Then you can follow your computer's instructions to fix the problem.

Hi i have ibm think pad r51 it shows error 176 on start i want to fix it what i do plz help me thanks

I'm sorry to tell you this, but 176 Error indicates System Tamper lockout. You need to enter the BIOS password correctly to start up, and it seems in this case, the password has been netered incorrectly and has therefore locked out access. Your only recourse at this time is to contact Lenovo/IBM, as this is not a serviceable condition.

I have IBM THink pad, T42p. It shows Fan error. Wh...

Cleaning the fan may help. I use a vacuum cleaner and hold the pipe against the air inlet of the computer and then against the exhaust outlet. That clears the fluff quite easily.

Do a search for memtest86.iso. Burn this image to a cd and reboot your computer. When your computer reboots it should begin checking your memory for errors. If you still have problems it might be your hard drive.

That's the BIOS password it's asking for. The symbol with the hand in a circle with the line through it is telling you that you've entered an incorrect BIOS password. The system will not boot until you enter the correct one, or manage to reset it through other means (will void any warranties, if applicable).

Hi, If you are talking about the Boot, HDD, Bios password, then the only one way to recover it is to implement a chip on the systemboard to shorcut the protection or to contact Lenovo for a systemboard replacement. Unfortunalty, no other ways other round. Thanks and have a nice day J-
