Question about OKI C5150n Led Printer
How do I set up the printer and/or my Word document to print from the MP tray? I am using Windows XP.

My advice is to call the Okidata help line! THANKS! for the number.
1-800-OKIDATA
The on-line manual is useless. A very nice Help Desk lady talked me through the problem, a box deep in the menus that can be accessed only through the front of the printer needed to be 'unchecked'. I hate to confess, I've had the printer for a couple years, didn't know the front flap comes down to allow envelopes to be printed. We've maintained a secondary printer for envelopes.
She talked me through printing everything from the serial number to the percentage remaining of the drums and toner. She also told me to put away the compressed air, this time it wasn't a sensor. (There was a problem with a dirty sensor a week ago when the printer didn't recognize the black ink cartridge.)
Would I ever buy another OKIDATA? Not on your life. It's been a nightmare, as others have suggested. If I didn't have hundreds of dollars invested in cartridges and drums I'd have dumped it on the sidewalk with a sign STEAL THIS, PLEASE!
The great OKIDATA service desk number will make trying to make use of it much easier.

I first contacted Okidata support through their web site. They suggested ensuring that the MP tray was fully up (pressing the blue button) and asked me to call their support line if that didn't work (1-800-OKIDATA). I called and THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM.
The technician (who was VERY helpful and friendly) talked me through opening the MP cover and blasting it out with compressed air (I had quite a bit of toner on surfaces) and then also blowing out the area on the outside of the MP tray where the paper enters the printer. He said that there was an optical sensor near the external roller.
Anyway, I'm very happy as I have several hundred dollars tied up in toner and need the precise paper feed I get from the MP tray.

Check your printer defaults in your printer preferences on your computer for the printer. The document you are trying to print may be set for the Multi Pass tray. Also check the paper size selected.

I have the same problem as the original poster. I have tried all settings on both the hosting computer and one networked computer to no avail. I just tried the second solution of reinstalling the printer driver also to no avail.
Is there a sensor switch on the tray that can either become loose or defective? I HATE paying service charges to fix something simple but really need the MP tray to work.
i am receiveng a message that says "load tray 1 letter(plein) what should i do
