I cannot charge it (USB car charger) and listen to the music at the same time
When I listen to the music and connect the player to a USB car charger (like http://www.mrgadget.com.au/catalog/images/usb_car_charger_adapter.gif) the player stops and the display reads "USB disconnected .... charging". Even when the player is fully charged.
How will I be able to listen to the music in my car and charge it at the same time like I can do when I connect it to my laptop?
I am using a Samsung YP-U2ZW 1GB (production year-month 2007-3).
Re: I cannot charge it (USB car charger) and listen to...
Don't think it's possible.
-when you charge and play via your laptop, the player is acting as a USB key and the laptop is doing the playing.
-when you charge it via your in-car port you do not have a 2nd device on which to play tunes.
it's either charge or play i'm afraid

You can keep the Sansa plugged in without fear of overcharging. The Sansa will play while it is connected to a USB port that is supplying only power, such as a USB charger operating off a car cigarette lighter. It will not play while connected to a computer.
this is a 2G player for listening musicwith the headphones or on a audio system...You have to connect it to a computer to load mp3 files(music ) on it ..and after that it is capable to play them ..(to go )..
it uses either batteries or it has a built in battery that can be charged eiter with a charger or from the usb connection with the computer ..
Like most MP3 player with an inbuilt internal battery, your Slick 2gb mp3 music and video player will have an internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery that will be recharged via your USB Data cable while connected to an USB port on a PC/LAPTOP or USB charger.
No you cant, you can charge your phone while you listen to your music on your phone speakers, but not your cars radio or speakers. The car charger only charges the phone and doesnt play your music to your radio. Hope that helps.
