When i press the on key it doesn't turn on but when i plug it into the computer it turns red. why is the pen not turning on??

  • Anonymous Feb 17, 2009

We have charged the pen overnight on our laptop. When I turn the pen on~ nothing happens, but when it is plugged in it shows all the different colors (red; green; yellow). What else should we be doing?

Hi, I just bought your product SYMA s107. I took it out of it's box and I started flying it. At first it was flying great but after a couple of minutes it started to not even lift of the ground. I charged...

you should have charged your heli BEFORE 1st flight.......anyway,,plug computer end of usb charge
cord into computer......turn heli OFF....before you plug cord into heli look at computer end of cord,,
should be bright red light inside......now plug other end of cord into heli.....bright red light goes out!
when heli is fully charged bright light on computer end of cord comes back on......disconnect
heli right away.....if left on charge your battery could wear out....it takes about 50-60 minutes

Garmin Nuvi 205 WIll not power on

Press and hold the reset button with a ball point pen for eight seconds.
The reset button is nearly invisible. On the bottom of the unit is a grey label with a bunch of writing on it. There's a little splotch of printing with a circle, crosshairs, and the word "Reset." You'll ahve to look carefully. You can't actually SEE the button. It's beneath the circle on the label.
Use a ball point pen, press in at the circle and hold for eight seconds.

Pen drive not opening

What Operating SYstem are you using? XP or Vista? An what service pack? (Check this by pressing the Windows key + the Paue/Break key together)

Firstly, if you are plugging the pen drive in to the front USB, try the USB ports at the back. Many times this works.

Secondly, It's a known problem that XP with SP1 doesn't detect many pen drives correctly.

If that's the case, download service Pack 3 from microsoft's site:

C5180 printer won't print.

I just had this problem and here's what I did (with a little help from a previous yahoo answers post)...

1. Turn printer and computer off
2. Disconnect printer from computer
3. Unplug printer completely
4. Hold power button on printer while plugging printer back into power source. Maintain holding power button in until printer cycles completely (Ihave no idea if hold it actually does anything...but I tried it and it worked)
5. Turn printer back off (which actually may happen anyway when you finally release the power button)
6. Reconnect printer back to power source and computer.
7. Power both back up.

That should do it hopefully. Also make sure your printer cartridges aren't totally out. It won't let you print if even one of them is completely empty.

Good luck.

Powering on

OK ... after a lot of trial and error, I got mine to work. I think it may be a really low charge or something. I had to press the power button until it was completely dark ... no flashing faint green or any colors. Then when I plugged it in, I got a solid red and left it for awhile. Then when I pressed the power button I got yellow, red and green ... the computer recognized it and then got a solid yellow.

Before when I had it plugged in, I'd get a lot of red random flashing ... and it just didn't seem to charge at all ... even after a full day.

I think the issue was that it was in this "flashing state (red when connected, very faint green when disconnected)" It wasn't easy to get it to turn off completely. Most of the presses of the power button didn't change the state at all. But if I got it just right, I could see the faint green light go off. That's when I plugged it in and got a solid red light, and eventually a good charge.

Hope this works for some others.
