Refrigerator and freezer are cooling properly. Several times a day the refrigerator makes loud buzzing noises. The compressor seems to run okay without making a loud buzzing noise There is a functioning ice maker, hooked up to a water line
When a start relay and the coil that opens the water for the ice maker or the water dispenser begin to weaken they some times buzz. Its possible you will need to either replace the=> 67003753 Water Inlet Valve
or the compressor=> 67005560 Relay or overload with run capacitor
Here is a parts manual for your=> AFD2535FES and a user manual=> HERE If you have questions please ask thanks Sea Breeze
turns out the problem is the damper control at the back of the refrigerator. It makes a loud noise when opening/closing. I ordered a new one from repairclinic
So this was the problem all along. Great that you have found the problem and will finally get this problem fixed. Thank You also for letting me know, John Tripp

SOURCE: Amana model SXD25QA3W. Not cooling. Compressor runs.
Low on refrigerant which is R 12. EPA has stopped the manufacture of it and it is priced out of sight.
You have a leak and will need it fixed. Compressor is about $300-400 list. You don't want to go there.
Good luck but likely 15-17 years old....... New one ???
SOURCE: Amana French Door Refrigerator "on" but no cooling; freezer still works
There are 2 possible problems. One is the defrost cycle is not working properly this is usually indicated by a large amount of frost on the back freezer panel. If so, the circuit will have to be repaired and the evaperator thawed to remove the ice build up. The other is the fresh food damper is not working properly this is behind the "lump" in the back of the fridge compartment above the top shelf, remove the louver panel to see if it is open or closed. closed will be warm open should be cold. The water dispenser reservoir is probably frozen due to poor air circulation.
SOURCE: Amana ARB9059cs: compressor makes loud noise.
they had problems with some compressors siezing up due to lubrication issues.refrig not cooling probably air flow problem.either fan in freezer section not working, coils iced up,or return air vent blocked
