Mine is not the stainless, but it is the Oasis HE, and I assume the errors are the same.
Just curious if anyone has seen this error. The machine is about a month old, which seems sad, but I bought it from a second dealer dented, so it isn't covered by Sears.
Basically, it runs for a few minutes and stops, unlocks the lid, and flashes this error and beeps. unplugging and restarting doesn't seem to help.
I have searched and seen some F-51 errors for other machines, but I haven't found my error. A complete list would rock, but this specific error is of particular interest to me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anthony.
It turns out I had the company I bought it from come out and fix it (I bought it new but dented from a second hand dealer). They claimed that it was the lock switch that locks the lid when you start a load. They said it only breaks if someone is trying to open the lid when it is locked and breaks the lock. Since that did not happen, and it was locking, running for about 2 minutes, then coding and unlocking, I can't see how a functioning lock is "broken". In any case, they replaced the locking mechanism and it works now. So, we'll see how long it lasts this time. My money is on 18 days. Oh, and my washer is stanless. Didn't see your post but I posted something nearly identical with the exception that mine does not post any error code.

This is a no motor movement fault, This could be due to a fault with the RPS (rotor position sensor) or the machine electronics but either way would require an experienced person to repair.
Hello, the F51 code is a motor rotor position sensor failure. It's best to
call in the warranty service as there is a bunch of tests that need to
be run to determine if it's the sensor or control board. If the tech
wasn't any help, contact the store for a replacement.
F then 50 flashes when the motor rotor position sensor (RPS) senses no rotation. Does basket turn freely? If not, determine cause of friction. If basket turns freely, see TEST #3, Page 10.
on each corner about 2-3 inches from outside just under top are 2 clips push in with putty knife and lift top ..on cabinet side is a plastic bag with tech sheets pull them out and match f code(f followed by a number) this should give you an idea where to start
The F2 error is the user control board gone south on you, a new board will fix the machine, as always do you own your home and does the insurance cover appliances?
