Invalid internet apn settings

you have to set up APN to get access to internet. call your service provider or google for APN setting for your phone.

Here are the steps..

Internet Setup

Step 1: Enter Settings
Step 2: Select Wireless & Networks
Step 3: Select More...
Step 4: Select Mobile Networks
Step 5: Ensure Data Enabled is checked (enabled).
Step 6: Select Access Point Names
Step 7: Create a new APN (Select Menu, followed by New APN). Enter WIND Data as the name for the new APN. Under the headings APN enter internet.windmobile.ca (leave all other fields blank).
Step 8: Save the APN settings by selecting menu and then save.

Picture Messaging (MMS)

Step 1: Enter Settings
Step 2: Select Wireless & Networks
Step 3: Select More...
Step 4: Select Mobile Networks
Step 5: Ensure Data Enabled is checked (enabled).
Step 6: Select Access Point Names
Step 7: Create a new APN (Select Menu, followed by New APN). Enter WIND MMS as the name for the new APN. Under the following information in the listed headings:

• APN: mms.windmobile.ca
• MMSC:http://mms.windmobile.ca
• MMS Proxy: 74.115.197.70
• MMS Port: 8080
• MCC: 302
• MNC: 490
• APN Type: mms
• Leave all other fields blank.

ASK YOUR TELECOM NETWORK PROVIDER TO SEND APN SETTINGS.

had the problem going through forums trying to find the settings that work for my phone but to no success but I finally figured it out and I'm posting it on here just in case some one else has my same problem.
I had to create two separate APN's one for internet and one for MMS. Settings are as follows:

Server: Not Set
MMSC: Not Set
MMS Proxy: Not Set

APN Protocol: IPv4

Do not forget to create two separate APN's!!!!!

Which version of Android do you have? I have an unlocked Samsung S3 LTE on Straight Talk sim and was not able to do a jelly bean update. It wasn't until after I reset to default I was able to do that. Except now I can"t get Internet nor MMS pics. So after calling Straight Talk several times and getting numerous APN settings I finally got someone who at least gave me an APN that gives me internet. Still not able to receive MMS. So let me know the operation system and Phone Model and I have saved numerous APN settings and would not mind sharing them with you

power on the g1, then hold menu , some setting will pop up, you will find apn in that, just type your apn( acess point name) you received from your operator, if you dont know your operators apn call customer care of your mobile operator and ask setting for windows or android mobiles, they will give you many settings, just take apn leave user name and password blank save it before exiting.
you should have your problem solved

From the menu tab
Select Settings Select Wireless and Networks Select Mobile Networks Select Access Point Names
Here you can add a new APN as per you provider settings. You can also edit the existing APN values by selecting the APN.

you need a valid internet settings to fix that problem..

call your network service provider and ask for internet settings for your phone...your internet settings is not yet activated thats why you encountered that kind of problem.

Because I bought the phone in the Internet, I needed to have the Ip address, Apn number, T-mobile Ip number and Port number and put them in my phone in order to my Internet to work properly.
