Something was turned on with in "Universal Access" under system preferences. Most likely it is Sticky Keys. This can be turned off under the keyboard tab of "Universal Access"

SOURCE: keyboard letters are typing different letters

Hi Melaine,

It sounds like you're in a word-processing or text-editing application, and have selected a Symbol font. Change to another font (like Arial) and it should clear-up.

SOURCE: delete key on macbook pro won't work

you may have inadvertently set up a keyboard short cut on the delete key... go to your system preference app in the dock. Then select keyboard shortcuts... if you select "default" at the bottom of the window it will revert to the factory shortcuts and eliminate any you may have accidentally created...
Hope that solves your delete issue...

SOURCE: The keyboard of my macbook pro stopped working it

Once it turns on, use the mouse and either try updating keyboard drivers from device manager under the control panel, or last resort, try system restore

I type in my product key and it won't let me type in the last letter what do i do

There's a blank space in there somewhere in the box before you get to put your key in.

Click into the box and hit the backspace / delete key a couple of times. If your key is split into
a set of boxes, you may have to do it for each box.

Where is the delete button?

There isn't a 'delete' button like you'd find on the extended keyboard, if you hold function while pressing backspace it will function as a delete key. (My MacBook's backspace is labeled 'delete' but is a standard backspace.)

Answer: Function + Backspace = Delete

I hope this is helpful and works for you. If I didn't fully answer your question, please let me know and I will do my best to add or clarify my response. If this was helpful, please rate my answer with 5 thumbs up.

My backspace only deletes one leter at a time

of course your backspace button only deletes one letter unless you press the backspace button for a long time and it still deletes one letter. There is something wrong with your keyboard.

My backspace only deletes one leter at a time

So does mine....if you want to delete entire sentences or paragraphs, click and hold your mouse left button and slide the cursor across what you want to delete...when it is highlighted, either just type over it or hit the delete key.
