Question about Dell PowerEdge 2950 (becwfk1_6) Server
How do I open the lock? I need to power up the server again but do not have the key for the lock. Please help!?
If the server is not posting then most likely you are having a hardware problem. If you let me know the light that you see and where they are I can tell you what is wrong.

Your probably got one ofthe following:
1. har drive crash
2. Hdd controller failure
Ether witch will need replacment parts and that you would see a local tech for if you do not know what your doing. You might need a new hard drive or acontroller in this case.
Thanks and please do be considerate and leave postive feedback ratings.

Is this hard drive in a RAID set? if it is, you will need to replace it with the exact same drive. After you do that, you will need to go into the RAID controller bios and initiate a rebuild.

This points out to a problem with one of your hard drives. Run CHKDSK on all drives you have, & if any problems are detected on any drive, run CHKDSK /F on that drive.
