Call conairphone, they will tell you over the phone how to sotre numbers. You can find their number by doing an online search. If you have an old model phone follow these steps. You have to make sure your batteries are working. Leave phone in cradle - press and release store button - dial the number - press and release store button again - press the button you want your number stored.

If you have an even older model ConairPhone, such as I do, the model PR1001,that was manufactured in the late 80's, you will need to do things a bit differently.

This style phone has a slider switch on the left side of unit, marked Store and Memory.

To enter a number, make sure the battery contacts are clean (use a pencil eraser to clean off any noticeable corrosion, like mine had accumulated over the years, especially the bottom contacts), and install fresh batteries.

Pick up handset, slide switch on left side of unit to "Store", then on face of unit, press the "Memory" button once, then enter the complete phone number you wish to save in the memory. Press the "Memory" button once again and then press one of the keys on the keypad to store the number at. Then slide the switch on left side of unit to "Memory" and put handset back in cradle.

To use a stored telephone number, press the "Memory" button on face of unit and the number you stored it at. You should hear the number begin to be dialed.

I am trying to store numbers in my old 21 memory GE corded phone (Model No.2-9167A) Can you help me? Thank you.

Try this link:

http://www.home-electronics.net/USER-GUIDES/29169_DOM_EN_CD_IB.pdf

It's for a different model (2-9169), but I was able to store a number on my 2-9167A from these instructions. You'll have to lift off the plastic cover on the right side to be able to press the "Store" button - but you probably know that. Also, if you actually want to store more than 9 numbers (not counting the A, B & C buttons), then you'll use 01 thru 09 when storing or dialing. Good luck!
