Frozen screen When turned on the screen is fronzen on the name/brand/1.0gb none of the buttons will work. I can't get past this screen to the menu. I've tried bypassing it with the lock button on while holding down the record button to no avail. When plugged into the CPU it's not recognized at all. I would appreciate any help with this matter. I Held Down The Power Buttons For 15 Seconds. I Plugged The Cord Into The Computer, And It Doesnt Recognize It.. I Took The Batteries Out Put Them back In, Nothing Seems To Work. What Can i Do?

yeah, i too am having the same problem. I tried solution #1, and it didnt work. as for #2, if i HAD another one to do all that computer swapping stuff, i wouldnt be writing to this site in the first place. :) So, Im with #3 until something better comes along.

who do i contact to tell them that their product is under the warranty and want to send it to get another one, my screen freeze every time i change to a song, i format the mp3 but that is not helping at all..... please send me the phone number so i can tlak with somebody. thank u!

Hi there! I've got a brand-new solution to this dead-end problem. BUT, the downside is that you'll need another similar player. Here's what I've done to unfreeze my Sansa m230. 1. I've opened the cases of both our Sansa m230s. 2. Connected the healthy one to the computer via USB. 3. After it was connected I've hot-swapped the "Samsung k9k4g08u0m-pcb0" memory chip with the one, which was causing the problem. 4. Finally, I've formatted it through WMP10. Only synchronizing in MTP mode using WMP11 since. Hope that helps. Amakorkos

You may perform a Soft REset
press volume up key and power button together for 5 secs. It will turn off and on automatically.

if that does not work you may do a hard reset (which will erase all data)

First, try this:

From the main home screen, tap menu
Tap Settings, then Privacy
Tap Factory data reset
Tap Reset phone
Enter your password, then tap Yes to confirm

If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:

Turn the power off. If your Samsung Galaxy S is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Volume Down button
Press and release the Power button
You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
Press and release the Power button
Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Samsung Galaxy S. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

the best solution to fix this problem is to get it repaired or replace if it is still under warranty.

You might have a corrupted motherboard or might be a blown IC.If it's a fused Ic, you would be able to get it repaired for few bucks but if that would might have been motherboard, you might need to spend many bucks.

Note - I am taking into consideration that battery is fine and charged. If not sure, swap the battery.

do you mean frozen on acer logos ?
it might be you hdd isnot detected in bios. your hdd might be dead.
Try to remove the hdd and turn on, if it is past acer logo, it's mean your hdd isnot detected and might be dead.
About the button, you can hold power button for 10 seconds, it will turn off.

Cannot change channels in digital mode

Solution that worked for me:

Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.

Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.

yes it can if it will load in to my computer? look for divce g right click and format it you will lose every thing but it should solve your problem when done use itunes to restore settings ? let me no how you get on

Camera Frozen

Hi,

I tried Option No.1 successfully when my Panasonic DMC-FZ7K froze once:

Option No1:

1. Try turning the camera on with the battery inserted.

2. Now remove the battery while the camera is on.

3. Flip the switch on the camera to off, then insert a fully charged battery. (Make sure that the battery's orientation is correct. Also make sure that the battery being used is not damaged).

4. Now flip the camera's switch to ON again.

Option No. 2:

If you can open the Setup menu then the camera can be reset which might help:

Turn on the camera.

1. Press MENU SET.

2. Press the left arrow button.

3. Press the down arrow button.

4. Press the right arrow button.

5. Now, press the up arrow button several times until the menu item named RESET is highlighted. Push the right arrow button and then select and set YES when the camera asks to be reset.
