Wireless problem with amilo pro v2000

to use the wireless card ..you should install its driver ..to do that run it from the disk it came with the laptop ..After you are sure it was installed ..press the enable button ..(located either on top near the lets or on the bottom edge ) ..
when it is enabled ..it will appear on tray system in the right on task bar ..and all you have to do is click right on it ..and select to see available connections ..and make a scan for networks ..and select the correct one ..and click connect ..
if you do not have the driver ..look for it on the support site of the manufacturer ..under downloads..select the Amilo pro V2000 model ..and the operation system you use ..and download all drivers again ..the WiFi driver should be among them ..

I'm not convinced this is the fault of the network card, have you checked the Main and aux connectors are firmly in place on the card (black and white push on leads).

You would be better replacing the card with a usb wireless dongle, these are quite cheap now and give as good a signal as the internal wireless ones. If putting one in does not resolve the problem, I would be inclined to check the network settings on the laptop

Please select the Drop-down menus under the 'Select Product' category as shown in the image below. 1. notebooks, 2. Amilo pro, 3. Amilo pro V2xxx, 4. Amilo pro V2000.
Once, you select these you then be taken to the download page to download the drivers available for you system. Please change the operating system if you don't have windows xp. You will get the option to change the operating system after you select the above options. Regards Anand Sachan

You can go to the network adapters, right click on the wireless and enable
control panel / network adapters

Did you reinstall all drivers from the recovery CD? Windows should have detected the wireless card and installed the software for it and notify you automatically of nearby networks without any further software being installed.

I think you just need to setup a new network/wireless connection. That or just enable the wireless connection you have or search for an available one and yours should come on the list.

The wireless activation toggle is hold down the Fn key and hit F1.

check your wireless working fine
go to my network places.then view your wireless network if any network u see then connect.
also if your router is setup in security mode u have to add your wireless mac addresses in allow list in your router,
type in run "ipconfig /all" then u see mac adreses.

and you should come to drivers and download section press that one and then select youre operating system
and then you choose panel and download the launch manager which with you can make the wlan to start with system..Huh..FINLAND RULES
