Blaupunkt DVD-ME2 Car DVD Player Logo
Jim Pepping Posted on May 06, 2007

No audio I just purchased a car with a Blaupunkt DVD-ME2 Car DVD player. I can get the picture to work but not the audio. Does it play audio through the car stereo? On a FM station or direct? There is a small aftermarket on/off switch on the console that switches off the car stereo sound when turned on, but I can't get any sound when the DVD is playing. I do get sound (static)in the TV mode. Any suggestions? Thanks,

FM station 88.1 or similar. Set radio to scan while dvd is playing. When the correct frequency is reached, you'll hear sound.

How I can take off Random play from bus blaupunkt dvd-player. It shows (Random) on left side on screen when I put DVD in and movie jumps every few minutes. Very bad to watch movies, cause have to find...

There should be a DVD Repeat modes or "Repeat/Repeat Modes" button on your remote. Press that until it's back to "ALL" and it should play things properly again for you.

The dvd is not loading and will not play. the cds are working fine.

Hi,

how long have you been using this player? I suspect the laser (lens) of the player. I think the laser (lens) is weak that's why it cannot read data/files on DVD discs.

To confirm if actually its a laser problem, insert an Audio CD into the player and see if will play. If it plays, then obviously, your laser (lens) is weak. But if it doesn't play Audio CD, then it might still be the laser (lens) or a mechanism problem.

Get a lens cleaner, use it to clean the lens. If that doesn't solve the problem, get a screw driver, open the player's cover so that you can gain access to the lens, use a cotton board to clean the surface of the lens. This should clean dust or dirt that might be on the lens.

If non of the above solves the problem, then know that you need to replace the laser to a brand new one.

To replace the lens, remove the bad laser, use it as a sample to get exactly the same type and do the replacement. Note that replacing a laser (lens) needs a professional touch, so if you cannot replace the laser, get it to a repairman to fix it for you.

Once this us done, your player will play all DVD discs again.

Regards.

Cd player doesn't play mp3 files recorded on cd

Possible that the format you have recorded is not accepted by the player's specification. I would recommend that you re-reccord the files with MP3 compression that is accepted. Use another software - nero- should be fine. If this wont work but your audio files play Ok then it could be a fault within the audio processing section. Hope your get this right. Good day
