Why is the DVD Player displaying Wrong Disc? It worked one day and displayed this massage ever since after loading a known good DVD that plays in 3 of my other player in the house. Is the disc not reaching required speed? Can it be repaired? Is it worth it or is it just a peice or junk and be glad I got what I did out of it?

The Answer is, "it depends". On the back of the disc player, you will find two RCA connections labled "Main R" and "Main L". Connect these via RCA cables to your "Audio Out" R & L RCA connections on the back of your television. If your television doesn't have rear "Audio Out" connections and a menu option to select between internal speakers and external, you won't be able to connect.
well a dvd player is only going to playback the media it is reading. So if the dvd is a reproduction of a b/w western then b/w is correct but if you play a dvd from the present then it should be in color unless the tv it is connected to is faulty. Try connecting to another tv to see if problem repeats on another tv
