I have the cd rom for my HCL552WX so i have all the codes to align all three colors. Out of no where i must had a power spike and i had to align the the tv i could fix the red and green but not the blue. On top it is in a downward curve and at the bottom it is in a upward curve. Everytime that i try to move the lines the get scrambled and i have to cancal what i just did. Can anyone help?
Your convergence IC's are bad, possibly more parts, there is a convergence board that has most of the parts that fail, there was no power spike that did this, it is a common problem on CRT Projection TVs, especially HD Sets.

This table is the information used by MOST diode manufacturers that use color banding on diodes. Most manufacturers stamp the ID right on the diode but some do use color banding as the method of identification. For purposes of alignment, the side with any color band closest to either side of the diode is the equivalent of the left side of this table. The three examples in the table when associated with the values in the lower table, are identified as 1N64E for the top diode, 1N452G for the middle diode and 1N4762 for the bottom diode.

Every CD/DVD-ROM drive has an audio port opened. An audio cable connects to the back side of the CD/DVD-ROM and connects to the motherboard. Most MB's have two four pin audio ports, one slot white in color and a second black in color. As far as the CD/DVD-ROM not reading the disk. Make sure the disk is free from scratches; oils from you're fingers or just plain dust. Open the drawl and blow out the CD-ROM drive or buy a CD cleaner which will clean the internal laser. These days it’s hard to find a CD/DVD ROM drive with a warranty longer than 1 year. Most ppl buy a new one when it fails to read CD's. Cheers' Mike
You may need to do print test cleaning and aligning the printer, check the print setup, ensure the printer print specification is not black/white, also please reset the printer, by powering down, and up after 2minutes
Hi We've been seeing alot of the HP Color Laserjet range of laser printers coming through with a "prints lightly with red" or "red is faded" fault report, we've been able to resolve the problem mostly by cleaning the scanner. Misalignment is normally resolved therafter by calibrating the machine using its calibration function. (if it has one) Wouldnt suggest this gets tried unless one is familiar with stripping and reassembling these machines though. Hope this helps.
Do you have a the CD ROM for installing the printer ? You can clean the printer using the instructions suggested. It will ask you to print a test page after cleaning and alignment. The CD ROM gives you all the information.
