Whirlpool washer model wfw9050xw00 This unit is 1 yr old and is stopping at various times during all of the cycles. Also the unit is buzzing a bit when it is using the pump for drainage. Some times we have to stop and or start the cycles several times to get it to complete a full was cycle. Any ideas?

Only 1 yr old so I assume its a simple fault like partial blockage at pump. Remove filter bottom right of machine check and clean if needed . remember to use an old towel fist as this will contain around half pint of water assuming its drained 1stly , Always unplug machine from Electrics before any repairs, Good luck.

THe most likely cause for this is either the lid switch or the timer itself sticking.

SOURCE: Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

2 yr old Whirlpool duet washer, suds and now f35 codes. Also when put on cold water i can only get hot water ?

the only reason you would get hot water on the cold setting is if the water lines have been crossed.you can usually clear the cosde by running nothing but clean water through the wash cycle and then use a little less soap.on the next was cycle.unplug the unit for a little bit then wait awhile and run the washer empty.

I have a 15 yr old Whirlpool washer that has run great. During a cycle, it stopped full of water. I moved the dial around to different areas pushing it in and out and got a cyle to run long enough to pump...

Not always a Timer issue. could be stopping at the cold fill part of the cycle which is the 8 o clock position on the dial. This would be fault with the cold fill vavle.

No power

Hi lushman001

I'm Harvey the Master Plunber.

Your question is: your 3-yr-old dishwasher (Whirlpool 24-inch ) stopped in mid-cycle. A small amount standing water in the bottom of the washer. None of the control panel buttons were lit up and none of them will work. NO POWER

First check all the breakers (or fuses).
Second check the electrical connections. If you're not a qualified electrician or service tech then call one. It"s under the unit behind the kickplate.
