I have a Cyberhome CH-DVD 200. It has been working fine but I played one particular DVD and the sound suddenly quit working. I put in a different DVD and it was fine, and I could even hear the sound on the original DVD. Today it has no sound no matter what DVD I put in.
I have a CH-DVD 300--not sure how different it is from the 200, but I have the same problem. Putting in an audio CD seems to do the trick, and is less hassle than unplugging (which also works for me).
Unplug from power source to reset audio
Maybe the audio setting was changed. check decoder, digital or analog audio, stereo, dolby etc. use basic setting like stereo (L/R) with no specisl audio compression

I went through all the menu selections for audio on both the DVD and TV but nothing worked. Sound ok one minute, gone the next.
Tried unplugging, ejecting/inserting disc again, but same problem. My suggestion? Unplug, then throw into the woods as far as possible because it's a piece of ****. Spend the extra money to buy a name brand.
