I wouldn't remove the door myself if I were you. If you just got the microwave, it should be under a return/replace policy, or a warranty. I would recommend returning the microwave and getting a sturdier one, as you don't know if the problem exists for all microwaves in that series, and most stores don't allow the replacement to be return/replaced.

Sounds like either the latch assembly or hinges too loose to activate the micro switch. TIP: Go to the web and type www.partselect.com enter your model number then scoll down to your part. Click to enlarge exploded diagram on left. Veiw enlarged diagram at top of page. You can print the entire diagram for exact assembly by holding your pointer in the upper left hand corner of diagram. In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man. Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.
