The power goes on and then off when I switch on the monitor.

You have a power supply problem.Have it serviced or if you can open it and replace some capacitors that bulged up tops.Unplug the unit first and observe polarity of the parts being replaced. They are often have the number and voltage tolerance capacity printed on it,get the same capacitance and voltage specified for safety.

Workstation 4150 will not print fax jobs shows all pending

Make sure that it's not waiting for 'resources' in the Job Status screen. (usually a type of paper) Most common cause is that it's waiting for an unknown size due to the data that came in. You should be able to get it to specify the A4/8.5x11 (if you are in UK/US) and it will print, or just delete the first job as that is the one that usually holds the rest up.
Oh actually if you do not use the manual feed tray (the tray on the left), try using that. If you fax function is set to use the MFT, then thats the other possible reason.

Everytime I hit print I get a box saying Epson Status Monitor 3 Could not find specified file.

Go to the start menu and look at your programs under Epson and uninstall the status monitor 3 you don't need it to print. If it's not there try to find it in the uninstall programs under the control panel. If you get rid of it your printer should still print fine you just won't get all the messages from it. You can still do everything you need from the front panel. Just download the user manual from Epson.com You can still download the status monitor 3 from Epson if you really need it, but it may not work because of the previous installation.

Got virus, got rid of virus, cant print, not recognizing printer, uninstalled and reinstalled but wont finish saying "The specified print monitor is unknown"

Need to know more about the printer make and model to diagnose this completely. But the first step is to take the third party applications and software issues out of the equation.

For PCL printers setup and print to the printer using the "generic-text only" driver in Windows. For any PS laser printer, you can usually use the laserjet4 PS driver. If attached USB, unhook and plug the printer into a different port first.

If you still can't print, the print monitor in Windows was probably corrupted and you will have to run a repair using your original system disk. This happens often with virus which replace system files in order to hide from AV scanners.

If can print, then you (1) probably have an injet and (2) probably have a failed uninstall of the print applications. Third party print applications still running as a service can cause this same issue.

I have a X75. I have not used the printer and it has been unpluged for quite some time (have a laptop Presario 2100). I kept getting a message that the All-in One was unable to communicate with the...

Hello djeanesk

The best thing to do is to cleanup any previous installation of the Lexmark x75 printer software and drivers then re-install them.

Please, go HERE and click on the UTILITIES tab.
NOTE: This link is for those running Windows XP. If yours is a different operating system, please click on "OTHER OPERATING SYSTEM" in red letters at the top (under "WINDOWS XP").

Download and RUN the clean utility then download and install the drivers/software.

WORD OF CAUTION:
Be sure to create System Restore Points during each stage of this process. (Before running the clean utility, after running the clean utility, after installing the drivers/software, etc.)

If you need help w/ any of the steps I've described here, just let me know.

Printing from Mac os X 10.4.10

Here was the way I got it to work on my Mac: Set up the printer with a static IP address. Then add it as a LPD (Line Printer Daemon) printer. Specify L2 as the queue for a USB printer. (L1 is the parallel port).

(This took me a while to figure out - I couldn't get IPP or AppleTalk to work properly).
