Machine stops and beeps with hot and cold lights flashing. If I restart the machine about 6 times, it finally makes it through the cycle. Looks like only a trickle of water is going in when it is filling.
It can't get enough water so it flashers these lights
to tell you to turn your water on,
Your water valves are not fully opening to let enough water in.
You will need new water valves.

If you can indicate which lights are displayed when the machine is beeping,that gives one the fault code to be able to tell what the fault is!!

having the same problem myself i am replacing the soliniod when it get here. in the mean time the hot water runs in normally so i swapped the hoses over on the back and and now i can wash just that the hot is now the cold button

issue where washer stops and water won't drain might mean something is in drain area.
look at my issue "eco smart won't drain, smells hot" and see about the sock. I found one of my husband's socks so far down in the tub bottom that I couldn't see it when I looked between plastic outer liner and wash tub. Had to remove black motor/white housing on bottom of machine--which i had to replace cause it burned out. That is when I saw the sock and pulled it out through a quarter-sized hole.

A common fault with F&P machines is in the water inlet valves.It is not afvisable to exchange the hot and cold valves because they are different. The faulty valve should be replaced. . Goodluck.....Nomess
