O2 Pocket Pc stopped working after upgrade installation

Hi, I just bought an O2 Xda II mini form my friend (waranty expired). The device was working fine with windows moble. I dont know much about such devices, and i wanted to upgarde it. So i downloaded this upgrade/rom from the O2 website. After installation the the machine does not turn on at all now. The battery is fully charged and I tried the master reset but nothing worked. When i connect it to the usb it shows: USB V1.00, and when i connect it to the power supply is shows: Serial V1.00. When i do a master reset sometimes a red light flashes. Can you please help me and if you know the problem, why it happened. Thank you very much

O2 xda formatting

Quite possible the upgrade failed and has corrupted something.

You will need to find out how to perform a Cold reset as this should return it back to factory defaults.

O2 PDA is not working after Upgrading the software

I would say that either the upgrade package is not compatable with your device and has not installed anything beyond flashing/deleting the current installed eeprom info (no info on the eeprom at all) or the device has been restarted or uplugged during the flash eeprom stage, the factory/master reset should take you back to config mode at least, when trying the master reset the power should be on, then activate the master reset with a paperclip or pin only will work, press and hold until the red light goes out, remove the pin or paperclip activator and your device should power up as normal with the old eeprom info or ready for new eeprom info to flashed onto it if you are successful here ensure you use the istall package that came with this device Should be WinMobile/II or IIe I think.
