The voicemail icon (little blue envelope with the sounds waves coming out of it) will not go away, even though I do not have any new voicemails. I don't even have any old voicemails saved to my phone. I have tried turning off my phone, but it still appears when I turn it back on. Help please, it's really bugging me.

Your provider can remove the voicemail icon on you screen but you have
to contact them of course. Sometimes what happens is the voicemail is
exited improperly and this then will keep the icon on the screen. What
you'll need to do it get back into your voicemail and follow the prompts
to exit the system (I believe it is the star button to exit voicemail).
What I would do is leave yourself a message, call into your voicemail,
delete the message and exit the system. If icon is still on the screen
then you have no choice but to contact provider. Good luck and hope this
helped
Motorola's have been having problems latley and they have dis-continued the phone company because of problems like these so its either just your phone or you just have to give it some time to go away all my motorola's did this to.
I have this phone at work. There's a button that looks like an envelope. Touch that and it will prompt you through recording your voice mail. This phone also features various "away" messages so that you can record a couple different ones and then activate whichever you want depending on your day. This is also accessed through the voicemail button. Once you play around with it a little, you'll find it's a rather simple phone. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to access my voicemail from home! Good luck!
I had this problem with my phone - ring it from another phone and leave yourself a message, then listen to the message and delete it and that clears it. It worked for me.
