ED-9000 freezes I bought a Magic Sing ED-9000 last month from magicsingmall.com. It worked for a couple of weeks, but now when we try to select a song, we can only input two numbers and then the Magic Sing freezes. We've tried the "user reset", but it still freezes. What can we do?

Try removing the song chip( if your using one)
test the mic with its built in songs...
if it works- then the problem is on the song chip- try cleaning it......

Why is there no power on the mic?

try putting fresh batteries, but disconnecting the ac adapter temporarily. If power is intermittent, the power button could be internally dirty. I normally open it up to clean the plastic buttons.

Ar all chips compatible with karoake systems

no
there are various issues , model of the system the make ( magic sing will fit magic sing ONLY )
if laungage font is different example hindi etc then also it will not work
chips made for very old models may not work on new systems
example ed series chips may not work on KV and KH series

Perfect score every time even when intentionally trying to do bad

The service center in California has the pack to upgrade (fix) the scoring in ET-13000 and most likely other models, including the ET-18000. They can be contacted at 1-714-578-0004.

I had mine upgraded by the place where I purchased it (MagicSingMall / www.magicsingmall.com) in New York (phone # to call is 1-212-561-5919). They might be able to repair units purchased elsewhere - give them a call to find out.

are you getting a green flashing light or none at all..

hi i am working in Wow Magic sing- one of the magic sing distributor in Philippines. Is your unit wow , even if its our competitor, the manufacturer is just the same.

kindly give me more detailed information about the model and description. please be more specific.

please try to remove all song chips- if there are any...inverted and dirty song chip wont make the microphone turn ON.
check the cable and cord- open (loose connection) cord or open adaptor will not make it work as well.
