Question about Zanussi ZEBF250W Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

1 Answer

We have a Zanussi ZEBF 351 W, however the FixYa site couldnt find this model (so im usng this 250w section for my enquiry) Now and then we find a large puddle of very cold water infront of the fridge freezer. The drain hole at the back of the inside of the fridge is not blocked. We would be grateful for any advice.

The reason is probably that the drain hole in the freezer (i assume this is a frost-free type) is blocked. take off the rear panel of the freezer and you will probably see a block of ice at the bottom. melt off with a hairdryer and free the drain with hot water making sure that water flows freely away

Water tank leaks

Turn the water off, find the leak and the model number of your refrigerator. Use the model number to search for a replacement water tank or water coil depending on what your model uses. If the water control valve does not leak you can turn the water back on until the water tank is replaced if the wires going to the water dispenser are disconnected. Just prepare for some water to spill once you begin removal of the water tank. This will allow ice to be made without causing water to pour out onto your floor while you wait for parts. It is really important to have the model number because without it the parts department will not be able to find one without it and internet parts view is not possible without the model number found around the fresh food section door frame. Have you located where the leak is? Is it something other that the water tank causing the leaking water?

I have a Zanussi condenser dryer TC 7114 w. It stops half way through the cycle indicating the water tank is full, but it is vertually empty and the water is collected in back of dryer and then leaks all...

I have just fixed this as below - your leak may be easier to see if you turn the machine on its front - there is a rear valve with a rubber bung and underneath a rubber pipe with a metal clip - check both for leaks -

Water large amounts on floor of shut off machine

To sufficiently inspect your washer to determine where to leak may be coming from, please review the following link:

If there is a huge gush of water coming from the washer as soon as you begin the fill cycle, this is commonly caused by a small air hose on the side of the washer drum that connects to the pressure switch. If this air hose comes loose, the water will pour from the wash tub as it begins to fill. This is an easy fix, if that is the only problem.

Another cause, can be a water inlet valve that is leaking by, or a pressure switch that does not keep the water supply shut off when not in use. This will cause the tub to fill up and spill over. The following link explains how to check for this as well:

Read through the information provided and let me know if you are having problems determining the cause of your problem. Please post back with your MODEL NUMBER so that I may be able to accurately determine how your washer is configured. I hope you find this information helpful.

Water leak on Zanussi tc7102 dryer

I had a similar problem. There is a 'o' ring on the plastic part that keeps coming out. This 'o' ring is not big enough, you need to replace it with a thicker one, preferably one made from a harder material.

Water leaking

There are several things to check for: The condensing defrost tray under the fridge can crack or develop a hole and leak onto the floor. A door gasket not closing properly may cause sweating and leak onto the floor. Some fridge's have a humidity switch inside the fridge that should be turned on to prevent sweating on the center bar between the fridge and freezer section. If your fridge has developed a frost free failure problem, often the frost will travel down the suction line at the back of the fridge and drip water on the floor. The heat exchanger tubing can separate and also sweat and drip on the floor. A kit to repair a separated heat exchanger line, comes with instructions as well. Ice maker and chilled water fill lines can crack and leak as well, this is fairly common with the plastic lines as they can dry out and crack.

Please revert for any clarification.
A Fixya rating would be appreciated if you found this to be helpful.

Pool of water from freezer.

The likely cause is the drainage outlet is blocked by dirt deposits or frozen ice behind the plastic panel inside the freezer compartmrnt. Melted ice overflows the tray insteady of being discharged through the tray's drainage outlet tube.

To check if the tray drainage hole is blocked, it is easy to take off the plastic panel inside the freezer compartment by undoing the six small screws.

Please don't forget to switch off the electric before you attempt to clean the blockage. Good Luck
