hi shirleygty, is that automatic hibernation (the computer hibernates by itself) or manual hibernation (by pressing the hibernate button)? If either applies to your case you might need to update the BIOS information for your computer to fix the power management issues on it. You can get it here
. Just run the file, click install & choose Install From Windows
. Make sure you don't have any BIOS password or any external devices connected to the computer. When the update completed successfully, your computer will automatically restart, then try hibernating this time (manual or automatic). I do recommend setting the hibernation to 1min. at the control panel > power options > change when to turn off the display. When it hibernates, pressing any keys or the power button should wake up the computer.
