My polaroid i1035 randomly shuts off ???

I recently got an i1035 for christmas and i've read the manual a ZILLION times and nothing has been able to fix the problem. I can turn it on and it will show FULL battery but then i'll take a pic and it will make the noise like it does when it takes pics but then it'll just shut completely off ... the lens won't even retract back ... it'll just sit there open like the batteries died ... and i can't turn it back on ... i have to take the batteries out and shut it and then turn it back on for some reason ... if anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

The only thing I can think of is are the battery in it cheap
battery if they are I would try the better grade otherwise if you
can take it back to the store

Hello, I managed to drop my polaroid i1035 and now when I switch it on, the back screen looks broken and cracked. The screen itself is intact and it still takes photos as normal. Can this be repaired...
When you break a screen like this, it's better to replace than to repair as prices drop and technology progressively gets better over time.

That usuallymeans an internal problem. So it needs to see a repair shop. Check for warrenty repair and replacement cost. Sometimes it is almost cheaper to just get a new camera.

Apparently, you can't. The owner's manual (http://mediacdn.shopatron.com/media/mfg/1848/spec_file/14070180.pdf) gives no indication that this camera has webcam capability.

Date & Time will not stay current
same thing happened to me too! lol. However after you press the menu button and click "default setting", go set your date and time again. Then turn the camera off. Turn it back on and you will find that the date/time is correct!
