Try partstore.com, the lamp will come as an entire assembly. The whole case. just loosen the two screws and slide it out. You shouldn't have to do anything afterward, check your menu and see if there is a timer to reset, but aside from that nothing.

Turned itself off. I turned it back on and the green power light blinks for awhile then blinks red for awhile.no picture or sound

Get rid of this TV. Had one and replaced the bulb and light engine many times. Just buy a Samsung or Vizio 50+ inch instead and be very happy. Those Panasonic projection TV's were terrible. You will find a 50 inch Vizio for around $500 bucks and it will blow your mind how great the picture looks.

this model does not use a bulb, but has 3 picture tubes. Most common problem for this is bad solder connections under the high voltage transformer.

My Samsung HLP4663W 46 in was making a buzzing noise for several months. I know it could have been either the fan(s) or the color wheel, but I never opened it up to determine which it was. Now the TV quit...

Great reasoning work! In fact, the lamp will not light if the color wheel does not spin-up. Fans will not stop the process of lamp ignition. Instead, a fan will be detected and a message will appear on the screen telling which fan has stopped. You need to have the color wheel replaced.

Mitsubishi wd-52825. red lamp indicator, new lamp installed

Failed caps on the power supply will cause that. The V26 Power pwb repair kit will usually correct that issue. Its available from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions.

Sony WEGA Large Projection TV

I sounds like the projection bulb has failed. I think there is a red lamp on the front that lights up when the bulb fails however.
This sounds very similiar to what mine did when the bulb failed about 2 months ago. Once the buld fails the TV will shut itself down and keep doing that until the bulb is replaced.

Panasonic pt 50dl45 shuts off buy itself

You probably have a lot of dust inside.
Open the back panel and vacuum.
Also use compressed air to blow into the components. Do not blow into the fan on the right as it will get the dust inside the lamp housing.

Mitsubishi 57" HDTV - has sound and timer light flashes

I had the same problem and my local repair guy soldered a defective sensor so that it goes around that problem. I also had to buy a new bulb. Now my picture is "cloudy" and the repairman has no idea why. I am waiting for them to call back on it.

TV Turns off and on

How long since the last time the bulb was replaced? It sounds like the bulb is overheating and triggering a safety shutdown.

It's probably in need of nothing more than a good cleaning (open it up, clean off the boards with a can of air) and *may* be time to replace the bulb.

Red light blinks 3 times

When the senior service tech changed our bulb, I watched very carefully, and he said there is an electrical contact towards the rear of where the bulb goes in that bends very easily and that care is required not to damage or bend that connector. His assistant tech then bent the thing, and the senior tech had to straighten it out properly. All the while, he talked about how delicate this connector is. Hope this is helpful to you. It sounds like what he was talking about.
