Cannot fnd channels on my zenith tv

Hi: I moved a tv from one house to another. at the present location , i cannot get the tv to show when i search for a channel i get the message "no channels found" yet this tv was showing perfectly at the other lcoation help

Hi guys;

thanks for your help. but guess what .the tv technician says he would like to know how i kept it working for so long. he changed a few parts and bingo..my zenith tv is working again.

Check to see if your t.v. is connected to your cable if it is connected properly and you are sure that every thing is connected .call a tech to repair the t.v. the problem could be in the tuner or IF circuit.good luck.

Goodmorning, bought a zenith tv didn't get the remote. Wonndering how i can programme it using just the buttons on the tv. How do i get the menus up. it only catches threes channels as of now.

Hello
There are two types Zenith TVs. One type will have "Menu" button on its front panel and other will not. If your Zenith is the first type, you can programme it without a remote control. If it is the second type, you must have a remote control hanset to programme it.
Programming method
First connect the TVs antenna socket at its back with external antenna or cable.

* With the remote control in hand, press the POWER key to
turn on the Presentation TV.
** Press MENU repeatedly until the Setup menu appears.

*** Using the Up/Down arrow on the remote control, highlight
Auto Program on the screen

**** Press the Right or Left arrow to go to the Auto Program
menu.

***** Using the Up/Down arrow, choose either Cable TV or Off-
Air Antenna on the screen.
****** Press the Right or Left arrow to begin the Channel Search.
******* Press ENTER when the channel search is done.

Note: Auto Program finds channels being received by the TV
tuner
Cable will not work unless you subscribe to a cable service
OK.

Hi,

Are you connected to cable TV using a digital receiver? If so, your TV can only get the signal for one channel - the one you're tuned into on your receiver. A workaround is to connect the coax cable TV cable directly to your TV, as well as connecting your receiver to your TV. This will allow you to be able to change the channel on your receiver and be able to change the channel on your TV to one of the analog channels you can tune into by connecting the coax cable directly to the TV.

Hi! Im have a Zenith, its either model c32v23, c36v23 or c34w23, I cant tell as I am disbled and cant move it. Problem is it is flippping between channel 3 and 14 really fast and I cant stop it! Please...

1)Check the remote and the TV and make sure the UP & Down CH buttons are not stuck.
2) Unplug the TV from the wall for about 10 minutes.

I can't adjust the color on my zenith z27x22d tv. Someone was moving and left it in the hall the everything else is great the color just needs to be back to factory model. On certain channels it looks...

1=bad solder
2=defective capacitor
3= defective jungle ic (control pix functions)

Captions only on certain channels?

Closed captioning isn't broadcast on every channel and program, so the information may not be present. Since captions are displayed on other channels, you know the set is working properly. If you are on a cable system you can try asking their customer service people if they know anything. But the TV is fine.

Channels with auto tuning

The antennas on most TV's are small and so moving the TV to a nee location may have put you in a new place in the house with even less signal. There are TV antenna signal amplifiers you can buy and for $50 or less you should be able to get something half decent that will boost your signal. Are you not getting any channel's now? Because you should still be able to get at least something in the new location. I'm just asking if you're getting any channels in hopes you didn't damage the TV while moving it?

It shows how to set up the tv channels on Page 17
