There can be several reasons: as a start, split the door and check for broken wires in the wiring loom where it passes round the bottom of the door. also check the circulating pump is not burnt out.

My Bosch SHX56BO6UC14 is not getting the dishes clean at all. It's making a grinding sound. It is pumping water & spraying water, but not getting anything clean. help?

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

The dishwasher fills with water when it it off.

The problem is the water inlet valve has failed. This is inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a video that will walk you thru replacing this.

When left the dish washer slowly fills with water causing flooding

Hi.

If the dishwasher fills when being left off, the tech must check for voltage at the inlet valve, then eventually replace the inlet valve.

If the dishwasher overfills during cycle, then test and eventually replace the water level device, usually a float sensor and switch.

Bosch Dishwasher with very little water pressure or power

It all stems back to your incomming water supply. Either the sieve is dirt or the valve is blocked with sedementation. Some valves are servicable and some are not,if your valve has screws then its revicable. (low water pressure restricts movement on arms.)

There is no water getting to the dishwasher. Nothing has changed with the water line. Looks like there is a problem with the dishwasher. (Bosch Brand)

Hello, your problem is going to be with the inlet valve. Remove the panel at the front bottom of the dish washer, turn the water and power off. You will see the inlet valve normally on the left side underneath your dishwasher (sometimes on right) connected to the water supply. Remove the water supply hose/pipe and then remove the wire harness from the valve. Now you can remove the valve from the machine. Just inside the inlet there should be a screen...check this for debris. If debris found clean out and reassemble, If no debris replace the valve and then reassemble. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!!! Mike

No water to the dishwasher

Check the water valve with a volt meter.

The water line coming in to the dishwasher will be connected to the dishwasher water valve. This valve will have two electrical lines which come from the timer. Attach the two volt meter leads to these two wires then turn the dish washer on. If power is not getting to the valve then the timer is bad, if it is then the valve is bad.

Dishes are not coming out fully clean

first if the pump is running and you can hear it washing it should clean now hot water cleans dishes not the washer the hotter the better at least 130-135 degrees modern dish washers use less water than older models so if you don't get the water as hot as you can stand it at the sink before you turn the washer on you can fill it with cold water second its important that you use jet dry and if your dishes aren't dry at the end of the cycle then on most washers you can turn the disp up for more hope that helps let me know
