Usb ports are soldered to motherboard. how do i access them for replacement?

Two solutions would be to either restore your pc to before the problem started, using system restore on accesories menu, or use the recovery cd or the recovery folder Acer laptops usually have on the 'D' drive and re-install usb controllers and drivers.

You will have to take the machine apart somewhat, or at least to the point of being able to disconnect and remove the usb port. Here's a link to the D600 service manual download. It will guide you through the breakdown process.

I recently purchased this exact same model - Acer Aspire 5532 from Best Buy. The laptop looks like it could possibly have a webcam on it because of a round piece where a built-in webcam would go but the box clearly states that this model does not have a webcam.
