Question about HP Pavilion DV9727CL Notebook
When I try to power up all I get is blue lights on and off. If I remove the ac plug and battery, then remove the cmos battery and push on power button, then put cmos battery in and battery or power plug and start it, starts up and works fine till it shuts down or restarts then I have to do the same proceedure to get it started again. what would cause this?
SOURCE: nc6320 Laptop power
hello the first thing to make sure of is that the ac adaptor cable is not having any partial contacts ofany kind whereby power gets into the laptop irregularly.this could have adverse effect on the circuitry. it is not enough just checking the output of the ac adapter by a meter.try straighten the cable from the adapter and check the meter for voltage fluctuations. if the above is okay then the problem could be on board leve.

you get a black screen right, nothing at all then no bios, no logo, nothing at all?
Do you get any beep codes and if so in what order?
did you try different ram?
First try to plug your laptop to an external monitor. If it works, you screen is bad, if it doesn't you probably need a new motherboard.
