What do these codes mean. They continue to display on my phone which is a E2600B. Have downloaded the manual but no mention of either. Don't know what good a manual is if they don't put the error codes in.
I had the same problem after I moved to my new home.... The main E2600 base/machine/phone worked fine, but the satellite phone did not. It just kept flashing E-17.
I took the batteries out for a few seconds and reinstalled, and when I put the phone back on the satellite base, it found the main base and worked fine.

Steam Generator Issue. Call for service, you can't fix these yourself as they are fully computer controlled. Maintaining them is a cost of doing business.
E17 is
Machine goes out of balance or vibrates excessively when
spinning.
Make the machine level
Adjust feet to touch the floor
Redistribute clothes evenly.
You did not specify the model so I can only assume what means the alarm code E17 - probably water level too high - flow sensor.
The dishwasher has, for some reason detected an overfill and is reporting that through this error code. The flow sensor note is there as that can cause this fault code to be displayed.
You would probably have to go into an options menu and set a code yourself, Not sure of the steps on your particular model, but that's how every one I've ever owned worked.
When the washer shows error code E17 you need to turn the tap fully on and check that the supply hose is not bent or jammed up, next make sure the filter is clean. Then make sure the water pressure is not too low. After you do all that, run a load with no clothes in the washer and use one cup of white vinegar and the code will dissappear
