Kodak does not supply parts to repair shops so you'd have to contact Kodak directly. Manufacturers only produce parts for 7 years. Depending on when the camera was made you may be able to get the part.

you are probably in need of a new LCD screen. If you do a lot of cropping and such on camera then you may want to use an A/V cable this will allow you to save your LCD screen and the batteries in the camera will not have to work so hard either.
LCD Screens are about 20 dollars and it is not a super hard job to replace. roughnready_offroad@yahoo,com
It is not possible to buy a viewing screen for KODAK cameras. If your camera was repaired by a KODAK there is a 3 months garantee on your repair.
An Out of Warranty repair for this model for this fault is about 48 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.
In order to arrange your repair/Trade up: Contact KODAK:

Probably cannot do it yourself. Contact Kodak online to find a local "authorized" service center.
I know of two in south Florida, but I don't know where you are. 305-653-7355 is their number.
You are correct. The LCD screen is broken. This is super common with the C743. It is unprotected and unlike most LCD's, there is no hard plastic or glass screen over the LCD. My wife broke my son's 1st 743 when she left it in her bag. My son broke the second one by packing it in his duffle bag for a summer camp trip.
You can spend about $40 for a replacement that will probably break again, move on to another camera or use this as a "green mode only" point and shoot camera just like the old days where you don't know what you got until you get home. You can still hook it up to your TV set to change the settings and review your pics, but that's all you are left with.
I would suggest, if under warranty, to take it back to the store or contack kodak for a replacement. Otherwise, start shopping for a new one. There are a ton of great digicameras available for the same if not cheaper than this one.
you cannot order it yourself , only a kodak support center can get them, you can get them on ebay sometimes, some repair shop might sell it to you, but why ,they make more by installing it correctly the 1st time. its the issue of you saying the lcd never worked when they sold it to you ,but really you installed it and broke lcd again. so its considered not a user replaceable part.
Call up Kodak at 1-800-431-7278 select option 3 and they gave me a price for my C743 of $44.35 + $15.00 shipping, but still no luck on the internet but cheaper than a new camera.
