How to change front wheel stud on a freelander
SOURCE: broken stud on wheel
To replace a front wheel stud you need to remove the wheel, next remove the brake caliper. Next the brake rotor should slide off. You will need to get a punch and hammer and drive the old stud out then install new one by inserting it into the hub and using a large thick washer on the stud as a spacer thread a lug nut onto the stud and tighten to draw the stud into the hub. Reinstall brakes and wheel.

grab a large punch and hammer and knock out the old broken one. Push the new one in and re tighten. This will pull it into place and because it has splines it should not spin while doing so.

I have replaced one of mine, you have to buy a stud that has tapered serrations, remove the disc and hammer out the old and hammer in the new replacement.
SOURCE: wheel bearings
u will need access to a hydraulic press to remove the bearings and re-install them in the hub, other than that no.
