FDL code is a door lock code on these washers, but be advised, the older models had an issue with the main control boards loosing connection at the soldered joints for the door switch. They would loose solder, and the board would think the fault was the door lock and it was actually the board.

If the door fails to lock after six (6) attempts "Fdl" will display. The "Fdl" error code indicates the door failed to lock or the control does not detect the door being locked. The likely failure is the door lock mechanism. There is always a chance there could be a loose wire connection between the door lock mechanism and the Central Control Unit (CCU) causing the error too.

Front panel does not come off . Dl is door lock and must be accessed from the door opening after you disengage the boot seal.

You are getting and error code F-DL which means the main control board is sensing that the door is not locking. Most likely a problem with the door lock/latch assembly.

yes!! the F/11 is triggered under high voltage conditions like high speed spinning. The part is called the MCU motor control unit. if it goes into failure while using your machine and locks the door, just wait 3 minutes and the door will unlock after the MCU resets. Try using you machine with a low speed spin for awhile.

It has occurred due to
1. Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
2. Door switch/lock unit failure. To unlock it follow the steps—
a. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
b. Check door switch/lock unit.
c. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

Hi, this is a failed door lock alert. the FdL code represents this malfunction in the door lock mechanism. the unit will not operate if the door lock cant engage the latch. replace the door lock mechanism asap. this will fix the issue.

If sound like a lid switch issue. Open the top of the washer to get an access to the lid switch(located near the doorframe). Look for a loose wire or a broken switch. In case there is no loose wire or broken switch, you should replace the switch. Good luck!
