Acer 5670 turns on but won't get to bios

Acer 5670 - push power button - PC turns on - HD light blinks briefly- then keyboard light, then nothing.
Power supply ok, battery charged.
The power light never goes out if I leave it on, also bluetooth light is on. But the PC is actually doing nothing, no processor noise, no HD noise. Screen never shows anything, no bios info, nothing. In addition, in this state, I try to open DVD ROM, makes noise, but does not open.
Any ideas?

Acer aspire 4830t-6841 power button blinks 5 times won’t turn on. Happened during latest windows 10 update.

Buy a new powerbrick, it is probably the battery not charging.
If i let my acer run without powerbrick and its battery is empty, i get 5 flashing lights.

My Acer KAV60 laptop won't turn on. When I push the power botton, it blinks green once then nothing.

Has the laptop been damaged? Dropped? Same on battery? Remove battery, try AC only. Try another cord/charger with the EXACT same power specs. Reseat Memory mods. Test the DC volt output, at the laptop plug in, with a multimeter. Power issues are difficult to diagnose long distance.

Computer won't do anything, keyboard does not light up, screen is blank

So there is not so much as a BIOS message on screen? Any beeps?
If there is no life at all, you have a CPU/motherboard failure. This may be direct or indirect (e.g. no power to MoBo). Check your connections.
Otherwise, your boot device may not be operating. This is usually a dead or disconnected HDD. Check that it is plugged in. Does it get warm? Can you feel any vibrations from it? It should spin even if your cpu is dead but MoBo is alive.

I have a acer aspire t660 pc. i buy a sapphire hd 5670 512mb videocard, but my pc dont reconise it. i test this videocard on another pc and it works. i try to change in bios the settings but nothing...

Make sure you set the primary graphics in the bios to pic-e and you will likely have to upgrade your power supply as this card requires at least a 400 watt you pc came with a 285 watt not near enough power for this video card and could be your problem

I turn my Acer on and nothing happens. The light

Try this it worked for me

Updating the BIOS will require a USB flash drive to store the BIOS information on during the update. To perform the update to the BIOS:
  1. Go here and download the latest BIOS for the netbook.
  2. Extract the files from the downloaded zipped BIOS file.
  3. In the Dos_Flash folder, rename the BIOS file from 3310.fd to ZG5IA32.FD, in all capital letters.
  4. Copy ZG5IA32.FD and Flashit.exe to the USB flash drive
  5. Ensure that the AC adapter is plugged in.
  6. Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port.
  7. Press and Hold down the Fn and the Esc keys together and press the power button.
  8. When the unit's power light comes on wait a few seconds and release the Fn and Esc keys.
  9. After the keys have been released the power light will start to blink.
  10. During the BIOS update process the display will be blank.
  11. Let the unit run and after approximately 1 to 7 minutes, the unit should reboot and the BIOS will be updated.
If the unit fails to reboot, or the BIOS was not updated sucessfully, try the steps again. If the unit continues to fail to reboot, the unit may need service.
Note: These instructions are only for the Acer Aspire One AOA-110 and the AOA-150 netbook series and should not be performed on any other model Acer Aspire One.

Desktop will not boot into bios No Usb power;monitor ''No Signal''

Your problem is the memory . YOu have to put off the pc and remove the memory card in the slot. Then clean the silver pins in your memory with a rubber eraser. Put it back and see if the BIOS will be prompted on the screen , if not you have to replace the memory.

My ACER Aspire One ran out of battery power so it was plugged in to recharge and left alone for a couple hours. When I returned to it and tried to turn it on...nothing. The green power light comes on and...

ASPIRE ONE BIOS FLASH RECOVERY

First format an USB stick with FAT.

Download the latest BIOS, and put both FLASHIT.EXE and the BIOS file in the root directory of the stick. Rename the BIOS file to ZG5IA32.FD, that's important. Do not remove the USB stick.

Turn the AA1 off, make sure both battery and AC adapter are connected. Press Fn+Esc, keep it pressed and press the power button to turn the AA1 on. Release Fn+Esc after a few seconds, the power button will be blinking. Press the power button once. The AA1 will now initiate the BIOS flash, do not interrupt it under any circumstances. After a while the power button will stop blinking, and the AA1 will reboot shortly after. Wait patiently.

The BIOS has been flashed and all settings reset to default.

If for some reason you made a mistake during the procedure and it doesn't reboot by itself wait 5 minutes before turning it off, just to be safe that it isn't still flashing the BIOS.

Pc Seems to be dead wont load bios post moust doesnt work or keyboard or monitor

I have the same problem, the CPU fan spins, keyboard lights blink, no start up screen, or bios.
But, when I push a few times on the pc reset button, then the CPU fan is becoming still, the keyboard light are out and I can start the computer again in a normal way.
Can this one be a temporally solution for you too? Do you have any suggestion about?
I guess it can be an electricity dysfunction of a wrong fixed cable.
