Not correct. The disc is just the windows media software. this can be d loaded on the web. Any WMA or MP3 files can be loaded in on a drag and drop or cut and paste.

Ilo player must be synchronized, coping and pasting files is not enough:
Start Windows Media Player and select following menus: "File.", then choose "Add to Library." then the "Add"
button. Then, look for the folder where your keep the mp3s to upload.
Plug the Ilo MP3 player into USB.
Click the "Sync" tab that you find at the top of Windows Media Player . You will find the Ilo MP3 player on the right side of Windows
Media Player. If Ilo is not ther, then right-click on Sync tab and
click "Refresh Devices."
Click
"Library" then
"Songs." on Windows Media Player . Highlight the son songs, and choose "Add to
Sync List."
Click
"Start Sync" button that will appear at the bottom right corner of Windows
Media Player. The songs will then be uploaded to the Ilo MP3 player.
I have found that the best way to add and remove music is through my computer. Use two windows - 1 mp3 player and other song location folder.(manipulate folder boxes to have them side by side on monitor).
Once you achieve that, simply drag and drop from one to the other.
Good luck.
1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up. 2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go to your folder with all your songs 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'iLo' and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your iLo folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/iLo] Music.
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go into your downloading program, select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open "iLo" and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your iLo folder. Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
stay on limewire, go to Windows Media Player and click Sync.It should say something in the corner like,'drag items here'.then go back to limewire, click and hold onto the songs u want on ur Mp3 and drag them to the 'drag items here' spot. when ur done getting all the songs u want, click 'Start Sync' and ur songs will be transfered to ur Mp3!
