Green light on kenmore dishwasher is flashing

Green light flashes on kenmore dishwasher and it wont run. How do I fix this?

    this the same problem I am having The only the only thing i have noticed is the heating element is broke. So i will replace this if this will fix the problem but i don,t want to spend the money if the dishwasher is junk or if the electronics are fried.

    yes I had same problem, blinking green lights on Kenmore Ultra Wash - QuietGuard 4.

    These steps fixed it no problem.

I actually had to change the steps a little and this is what I did:

press heated dry
press normal wash
press heated dry again
press normal wash again
wait a few seconds
all the lights should come on
press cancel (should hear pump)
hit cancel again

Started a cycle and began washing.....Thx

    i was scared that my dishwasher was shot but this was a quick fix. This website is awesome!
    I bought a baby swing at a thrift store and then turned here for a fix to make it work. For a total of $20 I have a swing that cost over $100 that works great. I find my self turning here again and again ! Thank you so much.

Press normal wash
press heated dry
press normal wash again
press heated dry again
wait a few seconds
all the lights should come on

You may just need to reset your control board. Go to the link and it will explain how to reset the control board as well as explain what might cause the issue and how to fix it.

Kenmore dishwasher won't restart, green light flashes 7 times
Unless you have already tried the fix on this site, please see if you can reset your dishwasher. It appears to be linked to dishwasher not being able to heat water to correct wash temperature.

Kenmore Ultra Wash Model 665.1388 problem the normal wash green light is on heated dry light is on and the start resume light is flashing but wont startup helpppp

The green light for "clean" is blinking green and

Flashing clean light is reset by pressing two buttons in sequence 3-4 times, to reset your kenmore press these buttons in sequence:

High temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry

The green clean light is flashing on my Kenmore Elite Ultra Wash dishwasher. After the reset sequence, the washer will run only 1 part of it's washing/drying cycle, then flash the clean light again... I...
The heater has probably failed and will need replacing. You can only confirm this with a voltmeter.

My advice, go buy a new one. If money is tight, go to the clearance aisle at Home depot and look for a scratch/dent discount model to replace it.

Old dishwashers were never good from the beginning. No point in fixing it - it was never designed well.

Flashing green ''clean'' light and will not start a wash cycle.
the computer senced that the heater did not work last cycle. Push your sani clean, energy saver button s back and fourth a few times. It will run a self diag cycle. let it run for a few min. If it happens again your heater may have burned out.

try opening the door and closeing it to aknoldge you know they are clean and is there a lock symble under the green light

This worked great - press Sani Dry, then press Heated Dry - then repeat - press Sani Dry, then press Heated Dry. All control lights will light and then press Cancel. The control panel should work normally.

led indicator light is stuck on clean and won't allow a new cycle to be set It is an older dishwasher Kenmore Ultrawash Quiet Guard 3 Sensor ATC Gt. I can push the Cancel/Drain button and it will respond by trying to drain I am leary of doing this because there is no water to drain and don't want it to burn up.I trip the breaker to see if a reset would work. It did not. I also held the Start button down to see if this would do a test of some sort and all it did was make the normal cycle led come on and the clean led continued to stay lit as well.
