Heater won't start properly

I just replaced the ignitor on my reddy heater r40 model and now when i plug it in to run it actually starts up and the kerosene does come out of the nozzle and then it dies after a period of about 5 seconds. I did put new kerosene in it just to make sure it was good kero. The old kero had been in there for at least 6 months.

Got a reddy heater pro 115 ignitor out mine doesn't use spark plug does this thing glow all the time while running or can you manually light these heaters

Never try and light a furnace when you have a glow coil ignitor. Even if you managed to do so it would reach high temp and limit would stop it. . trained technician can do this but why? If your glow coil is glowing constantly after start up than mast likely you have a control board problem. Call a technician to troubleshoot it

No start i cant see ignitor get brite red dont seem like im getting fuel

If the ignitor isn't glowing it isn't a fuel problem. It may be a pressure switch or bad ignitor.

Reddy pro155 runs for 3 to 5 seconds

Reply with the correct model number. "Pro 155" designates a series. We need to know whether you have a heater with a spark plug or a heater with an ignitor (glowbar).
