Can you provide the display adapter information for your system? Here's how. Go to:
Start/Control panel/System, click the Hardware tab, click on Device Manager, and click the + sign next to display adapter.

BTW, what game are you trying to play on this? I will check on the game's specs as well for you.

Well, if it says update the driver then why not go to:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=835422&rpn=PSA72U&modelFilter=M35X-S149&selCategory=3&selFamily=1073768663&selModel=835422|PSA72U#

Download and install the latest. Worth a try anyway although everything gymowner said is 100% correct and significant. You just might not have enough horsepower to run that game.

Hi,
First you need to download and run Belarc Advisor and, under Display, it will tell what Display Adaptor you are using. It'll be nVidia or ATI or something like that. Type that into google followed by the word driver, and look for a download of the latest driver that works with your operating system.

Hope this helps

Notebook computers unless made specifically for gaming aren't able to play the graphic intense games like gears of war and games that are graphic intense, I run an sli machine with dual graphics cards, ans still cannot play on the highest graphics settings on some machines, the new motherboards are runnong 3 an 4 video cards for gaming rigs. Most notebooks run shared graphics memory and don't have a seperate card for graphics, look at the alienware notebooks, and you will see what I am talking about, unless you have a 'Gaming laptop" custom job, playing the latest games is out for most normal laptops.

Toshiba satellite but the video card is incompatible with all downloaded video drivers, also perfomance is slow. what could be the problem??r

Windows Vista? That would half the problem. Upgrade to Win 7 to improve peformance.Centrino processor? Another 3rd of problem. Also try moving mouse off the display window. Must not play full screen. Add a codec package to play more different types of video. Google codecs for your OS. Many people like VLC player. I like Media Player Classic. Google either one for downloads. Locate the chip on the graphics card and note brand and model number. Visit manufacturers web site for a new driver. OR Buy a 50 dollar video card upgrade. Good luck.

What is the reason you want new drivers? Areyou trying a game that is not working? Did you check to make sure the game or software supports your video card? This unit only has integrated intel hd graphics which really doesn't support much of anything.

you cna get the drivers here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/hdgraphics/

About Satellite R630 - 13U laptop, my father bought it but it has no video card like nvidia etc, only built in, is it possible to put a video card?

The only way to upgrade video on laptops is usually through an external USB video device. If you were hoping to upgrade to latest video to play games you are likely out of luck. Your machine has a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD that will use up to 1.5 gig of memory. You should get reasonable performance from that.

My Toshiba Satellite A215-S7444 turns off everything anything type of video is playing internet or dvd. Why is that? What can I do to prevent this?

I'm gonno bump this as it's a massive problem with Toshiba laptops and so many peoples questions are unanswered. I have a Toshiba Satellite A210-11p with an Ati mobility radeon 2600hd graphics card. I have spent years dealing with this problem. Some people will have heat problems, this is a common problem with them, but some laptops will cut out when you go to play say a video or play a game. This is a graphics card problem!! nothing else it is purely a graphics card problem, the second you go to load something when Maximise Performance on the graphics card turned on the laptop will cut out like it shorts out. the charger light on the laptop will flicker and it will make a clicking sound when it cuts out.

Can someone please find a reason and a solution to this extremely common and fatal flaw in toshiba satellite laptops

Toshiba Satellite L25-S119 Win 7 Audio

Sorry, your sound card driver for windows 7 is not release by tosiba company.Even if they have release driver for Windows Vista too.It might have work.

So you won't be able to play audio sound on your laptop using windows 7.Either you need to downgrade to Windows XP or windows 2000 or you may get a new USB external sound card which support windows 7.

Typically, graphics cards in laptops are incredibly hard to upgrade. Consider it impossible. However, contact Toshiba and ask if you can upgrade. Some laptops are upgradable.

Graphics problem while trying to play games

You may not have sufficient video RAM.
You may be able to increase the size of the video RAM from the BIOS setting.
If this doesn't work then the video card cannot handle the games graphics and there is no way you can upgrade/change the graphics card as it is part of the motherboard.
If you want to play realistic graphics/high resolution games, then get a desktop computer, you can configure/setup these computers with greater computer power, memory and high performance graphics cards.
