My kid figured out long ago how to watch cartoons on one screen and play his PS2 on the other. The outline of the split screen stays there now when the full screen is being used and it looks like it's getting worse. It's just a shadow but it is annoying. Is there a fix or is this permanent?
Unfortunately, this sounds like the transition between the split screens is now burned into the phosphor of the CRT's and is permanent, unless the CRT's are replaced which would cost as much as a new TV.
