Remote Broke My Remote Broke and now when i want to watch a movie like a DVD on the (Aux) Channel i can't.i bought a new remote universal an (RCA)but it still wont come up Help What Do i Do?

Without looking further you may need the Factory remote not all functions may be accessable using a "Universal" Ha,Ha,Ha remote.These Universal remotes have been problems in my line of work for years,Best idea is when you get a new tv pick up a cheap basic functions remote & use it for everday normal Vol./Channel/Power et. & keep the orig.for things the universal won't do
You will need a connection to an aux,a VCR, DVD etc. The TV will recognize and display. You may need an original RCA TV remote with an aux button. RCA universal remotes will also sometimes have this. Or in this case press your remote button to 00. Sometimes this will work, or press channel search while playing an aux device, Thanks for listening, Sincerely, Matt.
Sorry u have to buy an original remote for this.The universal remote,will not be response by the tv for tthis function.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact to the original remote.
use vid 1 or vid 2 input on remote should do that if not then use a differ code in your universl for your tv that makes it work or type 00 should get u there another way go to channel 1 and then down arrow it will go into it if not go into your add channel menu and add them then down arrow
using the menu button on the t.v. set an alarm for 1 min in the future. have the t.v change to channel 00 or the input channel @ that time. turn off the t.v and wait until the alarm turns the t.v on.
