Usb wire started to fray so bought to new usb wires and it wont charge , even borrowed a friends and it still wouldn't charge ? any idea why
To get Ipad to show as charging download Asus AiCharger from web and restart computer after install.Plug in usb from Ipad and should now show charging http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/

Be sure that hard reset retains all data and settings on iPad, it doesn't delete anything. If you want to start over and delete all personal data from iPad you should use iPad Recovery Mode.
