Need a ruffler foot for brother cs6000i

I have a brother cs6000i sewing machine and am using it to make many of this year's Christmas gifts. I desperately need a ruffler foot for my machine but cannot seem to find one anywhere that will be compatible... Still a little new at the sewing machine, so if anyone can tell me of a ruffler foot that will work on my machine (and where to find it) I would be SO GRATEFUL.

SOURCE: Brother sewing machine cs6000i. Less

check you tension on the top thread and see if you have it threaded the right way. Also see if the indent of your needle "the indent down by the hole on the needle" is facing the hook by your bobbin case that grabs the thread when it comes around.

SOURCE: need to replace Brother CS6000i power cord

Hi! Guy at http://www.sewingmachineparts.net/ always seems to have what I need. Here are a few other sites:
http://jhittlesewing.com/sewing/catalog.php
http://www.mastersewusa.com/accessories.html
http://sewingpartsonline.com/

And finally, Brother's website: http://www.brother-usa.com/homesewing/

Good luck and let me know if this works.

SOURCE: my bobbin thread is not drawing up on my brother

If the thread is being trapped in the bobbin area, yes, it could be the bobbin case. If the thread goes around the bobbin case and come back up then it is probably out of time and needs to be sent to a repair shop.

Brother cs6000i thread tension issue

Logically, the top thread should not be affected by a walking foot as the thread operates independently of the presser foot.

Suggest removing the top thread totally from the machine. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct.

Check that your walking foot is installed correctly--the fork-shaped piece needs to encircle the needle clamp screw.

If you continue to experience problems with the walking foot but none of the other feet, recommend contacting a Brother technician.

Brother CS6000i Computerized Sewing Machine has error after being dropped

Unfortunately these modern computerized machines are not made like military grade laptops. The shock it received likely damaged or dislocated something inside. I would either call Brother's help line or take it in for repair.

Walking foot on my brother cs6000i

There are TWO places this foot attaches to the machine. It "hooks" onto the left side of the presser foot holder, and there's another part on the right side that should attach up higher (as shown in the instructions). If you forget about that second one, it gets stuck and does exactly what you described.

What does error E1 mean on a brother CS6000i

hello, the E1 code simply means the machine is working so hard, you can follow the information below to help you fix the problem,

The instructions for bobbin winding tell you to click the start button for the bobbin to wind. When you do that you get that E1 with a beeping. What they don't explain is that in order to press that "UP" arrow button to get the bobbin to wind..........you need to UNPLUG the foot control. So, in other words it to be used for sewing w/o a foot pedal. Now instead of doing as per instructions, assuming you've plugged everything in (foot pedal), after winding is finished just press the foot pedal and your off and running or sewing as the case may be. BTW, look it up in the TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION OF YOUR MANUAL.
please kindly rate the solution if it;s helpful,

take care.

Presser foot problem

Turn the handwheel so the needle is at the highest position and then turn the power off and then back on.

If this does not help, you will need to take the machine in for service.
