I recently recieved a used copy of The Legend Of Zelda The Phantom Hourglass for the nintendo ds. I deleted one file that was on the game so that I can begin playing. After I deleted the file and restarted my ds, after starting up the game and it say " Touch Screen". I touch the screen to start the game and an error message pops up saying "The data in file 1 is corrupted. File 1 will be deleted. Saving...". then the screen goes black and some red text appears on the screen saying " The data cannot be written. Turn the power off, and reinsert the Game Card." I do as instructed but the problem is that the game does the same thing each time and I am unable to play. I am very dissappointed and I really want to play the game. Is there anything that can be done?????
Did you ever solve this probvlem islandchulo? I have the same issue and would appreciate an answer too!
You can try wiping the data on the cartridge completely. I looked in the manual and there's no information on how to do this. It's usually something involving holding down two or three buttons while starting the game. If you can wipe all the data it should be like you have a new game. My suggestion is to call Nintendo. I'm sure they'll do their best to help you out. Don't bother mentioning to them that the game is used, they might not be pleased about that.
