Get bad sound quality after playing a few cd's.

After turning on CD player it plays fine, then after a few cd's, the sound quality is distorted, High's are too distorted and Low's are not powerful sounding. It is really frustating when I am recording live. I have tried shutting off and on and did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a service manual for the American Audio MCD 810 I can download?

Thanks again.

Realtek audio sound distorted when playing dvd

The dvd drive has a cable that goes to your sound card. The sound card plays the audio that comes out of the DVD drive. I would try a CD in the drive, alternately try another drive (if using a desktop computer), or try another sound card if you have one. Try another DVD player application (software), it could be a bad codec used for that player.

Cd skips

my best conclusion would be your player might be copyright protected to the point were you'd be able to hear the music but wouldnt be able to enjoy it.... different player or better quality CD-R's would be your best best. . .

Denon DCM-370/270 - issue playing CD's. A CD will

I would replace the audio cable from the CD player to the Denon amp, a long shot, if you have other devices hooked to the amp and plays fine, the problem will be in the CD player. However! if all sound sources have the same problem, the issue is with the Denon unit.

Hi, i have a 1984 fisher studio standard cd player. when it plays, it sounds excellent and works fine. the machine will play cdr's as well as normal cds. however, some cds it simply will not spin. it...

Thanks for the informative write-up. So few know how to describe a problem (example: it's broke) or have the intuition to check a few things out.

A surviving 1984 CD player? Good for you. And they originally said the lasers would burn out in a few years.

Don't read too much into sound quality and tracking of defects for this problem. It sounds like a load status sensing problem. Does it make the thee clicks when you load no disk or one upside down (to simulate a bad disk)?

You're probably on the right track with the tilt. I suspect you need to locate the sensor that 'sees' the presence of the disk in the first place. Can you try your troubleshooting with the covers off and observe what may be different at the tilted angle?

I use a tascam dm24. i am getting drop out when my music is playing. i also get a static sound sometimes after drop out.

ok question when you play music is off cd or comp. or mp3 player
reason i ask is cause some cd formats and songs come with the distortion on them the manufacture does not see this cause mass production in cd's
turn onto a receiver fm tuner if static is still there power failure is common in the power house inside receiver these require maintenance and probably new power house conductor

dust in the system can create static also hair and dust are magnatized this can distort the sound quality professional cleaning of system is probably needed in this case

Burned CDs don't play properly

if it won't play right when you put it in the cd player....it may be that the burning system that you're using is off and needs to be updated or trashed for a new one...got that?
