Need to find a fan switch model ze-268s6 (pull chain type)?

Replacements are available at Home Depot and Lowes. This is a regular 4-wire single-layer switch.

Mark the old wires, so you know which ports they go to in the switch (marked L, 1, 2, and 3) -- then remove the old wires by pressing a paper clip into the hole of each wire while pulling firmly on the wire. Then just push the wires into the new switch, into the marked holes.

if you indeed have a 23852 hunter original...

Black goes to L, High is Red, Gray is medium and yellow is low. Make sure you have the right switch.

There is a pull chain switch inside the fan termination housing. you will have to take the little cover off and remove the switch. it has 2 small screws with wire landed under them. Turn off the power at the breaker before working on the switch. take this little ****** out and put in a new one. you can get them at the Home Depot or equivelant. it don't matter if the new switch is a little bigger but it still has to fit. use some judgement here. wire it in the place of the old one, turn the power back on at the breaker and it should be ready to go. Presto.

Ericmalsack, were you able to find a ZE-268S6 pull chain switch? I need on as well and can't find it anywhere.
