Hello Kathy, now since i dont have a picture of the screen i cannot tell exactly what is wrong, but if i had to take a well educated guess it would be that one of the wired that feed into the screen is damaged or faulty . Take it to your local tech shop and they can fix this problem easily, though rates differ from place to place i would give a rough assumtion of $25-$30 for a proper fix. Hope this helped ;)
